Davey Martinez

Davey grew up in Santa Ana, California. He attended and graduated from Tustin High School and at 17 joined the United States Army as a Field Artillery Soldier. He attended boot camp at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and upon graduation volunteered for Airborne School and was stationed in North Carolina with the 82nd Airborne Division where he completed one combat tour to Afghanistan in 2007-2008. Davey joined the California Army National Guard soon after and married his high school sweetheart. To further his leadership and career he attended Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon College and transferred to Cal State Fullerton where he earned his Bachelor's Degree as well as a commission in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. He went back to Active Duty where he completed his Basic Officer Leadership Course and Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal. He served as an Executive Officer for the 217th EOD Group in California while holding a supervisory position in an aerospace manufacturing plant and later a managerial position at Disneyland all while earning his MBA from UC Davis. He decided to partner with his elementary school friend to own a restaurant and catering business. Davey then ventured into the construction business with his father where he also started his marketing business. Davey resides in Irvine, CA and has two beautiful children and two wonderful puppies.
